Who we are
Van der Walt Logistics (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd is a fully Namibian-owned long-haul transporter based in Walvis Bay. We move containerised, tanker, refrigerated, abnormal and break-bulk cargo, and we are the only long-distance operator of PBS road trains in Namibia.

Fleet technology and driver monitoring
Every vehicle is tracked by satellite and fitted with on-board cameras, so we know where each truck and its cargo are at all times.

Live monitoring of every vehicle and its cargo. Email our operations team your reference number for a truck's current position.

On-board cameras
Monitored daily. Video reports flag seat-belt use, speeding, harsh braking, distracted and night driving, and cellphone use.

Driver scoring
Every driver is scored monthly. Results guide coaching, training and, where needed, disciplinary action.
Cross-border operations
Long-haul road freight from the Port of Walvis Bay to inland and regional markets.
Our administrative and IT systems link to the relevant border posts through ASYCUDA, the customs management system. Clearing and excise documents are processed efficiently, so cross-border loads keep moving with minimal delay.
